Orientation taught me that global competency isn’t just about understanding cultures – it’s about understanding people. Welcoming students from all over the world changed my attitude from “I know what they need” to “Let me learn who they are.” This shift stays with me every day, shaping how I communicate, how I care, and the kind of person I hope to become.
