Let me introduce myself – as deep as Pacific Ocean 🌊

I am an uninvited settler in Kamloops, and I respectfully acknowledge that I live, learn, and grow on the unceded and traditional territory of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc, within Secwépemc’ulucw. I’m grateful to be here.

I am an international student originally from India and currently in my second year of Biology at TRU. I love science, chai, and connecting with people. If I’m on campus and not in class or the lab, you’ll usually find me in a pink sweater/hoodie/shirt and a black hijab — probably with a pink bow on it.

I’m a mix of curiosity, sarcasm, and kindness — the type of person who explains biology like a story, asks too many questions, and still shows up smiling even when I’m running on no sleep and vibes.

I work as a Pharmacy Assistant at Rexall, where I help customers understand their medications, explain dosages in simple ways, and support people from many different backgrounds. Working there has taught me patience, empathy, and how to communicate clearly — even when someone is stressed, confused, or relying on Google more than they should.

Outside of school and work, I’m probably drinking chai, trying new weights (hitting PRs) in weightlifting, or volunteering. I also enjoy singing and learning languages.

Fun Facts About Me:

  • I’ve travelled to 14 countries — which means I can navigate airports better than my life situations.
  • 👑 I was a Miss Canada Finalist in 2024 — yes, I can talk about mitochondria AND walk in heels.
  • 💊 I can calm down a stressed pharmacy customer in less than 30 seconds with my giant crooked smile.
  • I can switch between English, Hindi, and Gujarati mid-sentence without warning.

I love building community, learning from different cultures, and helping people feel comfortable and included. Whether it’s welcoming students at New Student International Orientation, leading STEM activities, supporting my friends through academic chaos, or helping customers with their prescriptions, I enjoy being someone people can rely on.

I’m still figuring out my exact future, but I know it will be somewhere in science, healthcare, or teaching — as long as it involves helping people, learning constantly, and making a positive impact.

This is me — simple, curious, a little chaotic, and always growing. 💙
